PETE KUTZER
Pete Kutzer is President of The Kutzer Company. Mr. Kutzer received a B.A. with Honors in Economics and Distinction in General Scholarship from the University of California at Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. Mr. Kutzer was formerly employed in the real estate investment banking group at Morgan Stanley & Co. in Los Angeles. Mr. Kutzer is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Urban Land Institute, and is a Founding Board member of Muse/Ique and Civitas, and currently serves on the board of Huntington Health Physicians. Mr. Kutzer has held leadership positions on numerous boards and charitable organizations, including the Armory Center for the Arts, the Institutional Review Board of Huntington Hospital, Young & Healthy, the Old Pasadena Management District, the South Pasadena Preservation Foundation, and as President of the Board of Education of the South Pasadena Unified School District. Mr. Kutzer is a frequent speaker on real estate investment and development.
EMILY ADAMS
Emily Adams has run the accounting department at TKC since 2003, and is responsible for all aspects of financial management, reporting, and information technology. Ms. Adams received a BA degree from California Polytechnic University.
CHRISTA DURFEE
Christa Durfee has over 25 years’ experience as a Manager at TKC, and has overseen office, retail, and industrial management projects. Prior to coming to TKC, Ms. Durfee worked for The Cook-Holman Management Company, managing several properties in the Los Angeles area. Ms. Durfee received her degree in Speech Communications at California State University, Long Beach.
ALEJANDRA PAREDES
Alex Paredes has over 26 years’ experience as a Manager at TKC, and has worked on a variety of office, retail, and industrial projects, including assignments with sensitive historic buildings. Ms. Paredes received her B.A. in Business Administration and Management from Woodbury University. Ms. Paredes is also fluent in Spanish.
CLAUDIA RODRIGUEZ
Claudia Rodriquez has over 25 years’ experience as a Manager at TKC, and has overseen office, retail, and industrial management projects. Ms. Rodriguez has worked primarily on high-quality office and retail projects, on behalf of individuals, private investment funds, and bank trust departments. Ms. Rodriguez is also fluent in Spanish.
MARILYN YAN
Marilyn is a bookkeeper in the accounting department at TKC. She has been with the firm since 2007, and formerly worked at Disney, and at the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority. Ms. Yan is also fluent in Cantonese.
ELLEN LEE
Ellen Lee has been an Assistant Manager at TKC since 2015. Ms. Lee previously worked as an executive assistant for an investment firm. Ms. Lee assists with daily property operations and projects. Ms. Lee received her B.A. from University of California, Riverside. Ms. Lee is also fluent in Korean.
evirene gallegos
Evirene Gallegos has been an Assistant Manager at TKC since 2024. Ms. Gallegos earned an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Los Angeles City College, with additional coursework in real estate. She has prior experience working at an architectural design firm, and real estate escrow firm.
CHRISTINE WONG
Christine Wong joined TKC in 2024 as Office Manager. She graduated from California State University-Los Angeles with a B.S. in Business Administration. Ms. Wong brings experience in marketing and team management. She is fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin.
AMBER MALLETT
Amber Mallett joined TKC in 2024. She holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Finance from Loyola Marymount University. Prior to her role at TKC, Ms. Mallett interned at Paramount Studios, where she collaborated closely with the Finance Team.
GABRIELA HOFMEISTER
Gabi Hofmeister has been the receptionist at TKC since October 2024. She holds a BFA degree from California State University, Fullerton, and has gained valuable experience working in various office assistant and receptionist roles during her time there.
JESSICA MARTINEZ
Jessica Martinez is an Assistant Manager at TKC since 2024. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California Lutheran University and is fluent in Spanish. Ms. Martinez has experience in operations and management from her time at Torres Asuncion Growers.
